1. CHURCH OF MADONNA DELLA NEVE  The church of the Madonna della Neve (Our Lady of the Snow) stands in the vicinity of the cemetery and is reached crossing a country path. Churches of this type were located near ice houses or in places where snow was collected. Tradition has it that a miraculous snowfall on August 5th many centuries ago saved the village from an epidemic. For this reason, even today, the feast of Our Lady of the Snow is celebrated by carrying her statue through the streets of the village.A portico at the front of the building is covered by a roof with two exposed trusses. Inside, a simple hall houses XV century frescoes in the style of Alemanno and Panfilo from Spoleto. On the left of the end wall there is the Annunciation with the Archangel Gabriel. In the centre, above the altar and beneath the God the Father, a large niche is frescoed with the triumph of Our Lady with the Infant Jesus and angels. On the side wall there are portrayals of Saint Sebastian and Saint Rocco and at the top an Agnus Dei. Bibliography:
